In addition, the Seville Classics commercial bin rack allows for easy access to all of your ingredients and cooking equipment with its ability to roll. The plastic racks for storage contain various sizes of bins. Each storage bin rack can be customized by you by mixing and matching the different sizes of bins. There is an open shelf above the 6 storage bin shelves where you can place larger items that do not fit in the storage bins themselves. While this is a great bin rack system for kitchens, it can also be used for offices, garages and craft rooms.

Yes. This shelving unit is NSF® listed, which means that it is approved for kitchen use in a commercial or home setting.

Is It Possible for the Storage Bins to Move Around or Fall Off of the Storage Bin Shelves if I Move the Unit?

It is unlikely because the Seville Classics Commercial Bin Rack w/ Wheels has a lock mechanism for each of the bins on each shelf to ensure that all of your important items stay in place.

Can I Use the Seville Classics Commercial Bin Rack w/ Wheels as Permanent Shelving in a Kitchen Environment?

Yes. Even though the 3″ caster wheels are designed for easy rolling, two of the four wheels on this unit lock to ensure that the bin rack system will stay in place if you do not want it to move. A benefit of the locking wheels in a kitchen area is that you can unlock them and move the storage bin shelves in order to clean underneath and behind the unit, an inevitable task when food is nearby.

Can I Store Unpackaged Food Products in the Bin Rack System?

Yes. The plastic storage bins are made with NSF approved material so they are safe enough to come into direct contact with unpackaged food.
